Lavachem 100 CAM as a pre-carbon filter media to remove oily residues and sheens from influent water streams. Due to its high adsorptive capacity and low pressure drop, this media will increase the life of your carbon filter. Lavachem 100 CAM is a granular, organically modified clay filtration/absorption media for water treat ment. A blend of anthracite and bentonite clay impregnated with a quaternary amine, Lavachem 100 CAM removes mechanically emulsified oil and grease, free oil and high molecular weight organic molecules. And it does it efficiently, absorbing 50% of its own weight in oil.
